In my chemistry courses I tested water samples to determine their

quality. I have also done historical research on how humans have

impacted the Brook Trout of Vermont, on eutorphication, and the

dead zone off the Gulf of Mexico. I have taken Organic Chemistry

I, Ecology, a course in environmental toxicology and chemistry, Organic Chemistry II, a course in Data Organization where I learned how to use Access and Excel, and a course in environmental pollution.

ACTIVITIES

AND HONORS: Monitored the water quality of the Moose River, and was a

member of the Weather Club, @ Concord High School in Concord Vermont.

Attended the Governor’s Institute on Science and Technology

while there estimated the fish population using an electroshocker to stun the fish and count them, and tested the water quality of the fish’s habitat.

Currently Treasurer and alternate House representative of the

Natural Science Society at Lyndon State College

As treasurer of the club I take care of the clubs financial matters,

and as an officer I attend the house meetings and speak on the

club’s behalf.

and stock the store. I also turn on the alarm and lock up.

SUMMER 1993 Park Caretaker

Vermont Youth Conservation Corps

Waterbury, Vermont

Did the day to day maintenance and cleaning of the park, as well as built hiking trails, and made an educational game for the Visitor’s Center.

HOBBIES: Fishing, hiking, and hunting
